Many leaders feel a growing discomfort in their careers, while others experience a certain comfortable numbness. Both situations do not align with their internal desires. Despite their status and good financial situation, there is a lack of happiness and fulfillment. The context feels increasingly unfamiliar, and there seems to be no time for anything anymore. Bit by bit, they feel stuck. This situation brings about doubt: "What should I do next?" "Who can I talk to without appearing weak?" "Who am I?"

Speaker Biography

Bernard Moerman:

Mentor, Consultant, Speaker, Guest Lecturer (VUB, AMS & ISB), Author, Storyteller, and Hotel Co-owner.

Bernard brings decades of experience in highly international arenas, where top-level competitive performance, entrepreneurial leadership, continuous learning, and deliberate practice are part of his everyday life. Starting his career as a professional football player, he transformed into the owner-manager of an international cycling academy with headquarters in Belgium and Albuquerque (NM, USA). His entrepreneurial journey began with owning a printing business, then transitioning into a communication agency, and ultimately becoming an internet pioneer. All of his experiences are consolidated in his current role as a mentor, consultant, speaker, guest lecturer, author, and hotel co-owner.

Together with his wife Ann and their two Old English Sheepdogs, Bernard volunteers at UZ Jette (Brussels Belgium, Villa Samson) to bring joy into the lives of sick children.
